Join Kick-Off Sports Premier Dodgeball Academy for boys & girls in years 3,4,5,6,7 & 8 at school. Empowering lives with confidence, respect and success.
Dodgeball is a fast growing sport in the UK and hugely popular with boys & girls of all abilities. It is a great way to discover your child’s potential and accelerate their development in our fun, pressure free & caring environment!
At the Kick-Off Sports Premier Dodgeball Academy players will start off by learning and improving the basic key skills of dodgeball such as throwing, dodging and catching. Players will learn the rules of the game and how to select and apply tactics to outwit their opponent.
As players evolve and progress through their journey of dodgeball so does the Dodgeball Academy training to suit individual needs and abilities from complete beginner to experience/talented.
Players will be given lots of opportunities to play games and are taught the rules of the game whilst playing with honesty!
Our Dodge balls are made of Zoft Skin, custom made cushioned dodgeballs for softness made especially for children. Your child will have endless fun.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES & STRUCTURE
Each week Kick-Off Sports Dodgeball Academy program offers an ideal mix of enhancing gross and fine motor skills whilst providing an abundance of enjoyment! It equips young players with essential abilities and life skills.
A typical session will start with a fun warm up for around 10min, followed by a focus on a different aspect of dodgeball for 30min which will then end in a competitive game for 20min.
An emphasis on fun and enjoyment is at the core of all sessions
PLAYERS LEARNING SCHEDULE INCLUDE:
Week 1 – Develop catching with consistency and under pressure
Week 2 – Develop throwing techniques and apply this under pressure in a game.
Week 3 – Learn the rules of the game and how to apply them.
Week 4 – Develop dodging techniques and apply this to the situation.
Week 5 – Game Night! Players will play in various competitive games with conditions set to bring out different skills that they have learnt.
Week 6 - Developing reactions, speed and being able to apply this in a game.
Week 7 – Learn attacking strategies
Week 8 - Learn defensive strategies
Week 9 – Develop throwing at a moving target
Week 10 - Game Night! Players will play in various competitive games with conditions set to bring out different skills that they have learnt.
The above are just a few examples of the learning objectives players will learn each week.

Dodgeball will be played in the indoor sports hall so trainers are to be worn.
Plenty of Fluid

HOW TO BOOK

Term 2 is from Monday 4th of November - 16th of December 2024 Cost is £35 for 7 weeks
Term 3 id from Monday 6th of January - 10th February 2025 Cost is £30 for 6 weeks

A place is only secured once payment has been made and places are limited.
If the booking form allows you to book that term then we have places available.
Please note that if you have booked one term and would like your child to keep attending throughout the year you will need to book and make payment again for future terms before places fill.
